Ceibo surf film
Independent documentary, 'Ceibo', follows Ecuadorian Australian surfer Pacha Light and Australian surfer and activist Lucy Small on a journey across Ecuador, meeting with women who share their experiences of community leadership and environmental protection. The film explores Pacha’s evolving identity as she reconnects with her Ecuadorian roots in a journey to some of the world’s most beautiful yet fragile land and seascapes. The project is filmed and edited by British filmmaker Maddie Meddings and set to premiere in early 2025.
